Across all of Creation, individuals from every walk of life may awaken, possessed by a profound belief that it is their religious duty to flock to the frontlines in a sacred pilgrimage, bringing war to the enemies of YHWH. Donning the signature iron capirote of the Trench Pilgrims, these zealots rush barefoot through the killing fields of No Man’s Land, armed with improvised bludgeons, heirloom swords, and rifles and shotguns looted from the trenches. Some Trench Pilgrims are even resurrected after mortal wounds, continuing to slaughter Heretics as Martyr Penitents.
